The match stadium will take place on Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban that is just newly built in 2009 with a capacity of 70,000.

A home game versus Australia will be Germany’s first assignment in the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, as the game will be played in Durban at the Moses Mabhida Stadium. The last time Australia played in the World Cup was back in 2006, when they advanced into the competitions last 16 stages, only for Italy to win against them with a score of 1-0, it followed a controversial penalty given to the reigning champion. In this event, the Australians are surely not ready to experience such a bitter moment once more. As these controversial events occur in Germany, the Oceanic giants will unleash their anger on their German opponents on June 13 2010.

The other teams in Pot A were France, Croatia, Italy, Spain, Portugal, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, and Greece; and as a result, these were top teams the Germans did not expect to battle in their table. The First Round draw for the matches happened on the 25th of November 2007, in the city of Durban, South African. It was the same time that Azerbaijan, Russia, Wales, Finland, and Liechtenstein, along with Germany achieved the European Group 4 of the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The Germans first game was played on the 6th of September 2008 at the Rheinpark Stadium in Liechtenstein and naturally, the DFB-Eleven destroyed the home side 6-0 to get three first points, in add an outstanding goal difference.
Germany experienced a harder second game against Finland with a 3-3 draw away to the Olympia stadium.

Russia lead by Guus Hiddink failed to defeat the Germans on match day 3 of the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, loosing by a score of 2-1, away from home.

Five goals and a clean sheet going into their next two games against Wales and Liechtenstein ensured them an unbeaten run in the qualifiers, before two successive 2-0 wins versus the Welsh and Azerbaijan these made the Germans into an invincible side. The next games ended with 4-0 and 1-0 in favor of the former World Cup hosts, as the European giants earned six more points to secure their place at the top of their table. But Germany missed their chances of getting the perfect end to their qualifiers, because they were not able to beat Finland after a 1-1 home draw. Watch the World Cup 2010 Germany vs. Australia and see if they Germany still have the power to win.
