Les Bleus will be headed by Thierry Dusautoir their new team captain and have named tricky fly half Trinh-Duc in their starting team. They have decided on using experienced Damien Traille at fullback ahead of Maxime Medard. Nallet managed to get his place in the second row but his club mate Chabal has to be contented for a spot on the bench alongside Szarzewski. His original place in the starting lineup has been given to Servat while with Ouedraogo on the injury list. Harinordoquy joins Dusautoir and Picamoles in a great deep bench. Clerc and his Toulouse teammate Heymans are on the wings for France while Scrumhalf Dupuy is named ahead of Morgan Parra.

France have made minor changes in their players forces from the side who arrived earlier in the year and gave the team a fast win, one test and losing the second. But still this was enough to win the Series and that has given them good spirits entering this match. They played so well down here and we will know that more of the same type of play will yield results against any team including the Mighty Springboks. France will look to try and run this game through their forwards but that will not be easy against this Boks pack. So the French must use their intellectual know how to get a good result. Looking at this French side and you will see some real class in it and if they start to fire up they will be very hard to contain.

The South Africa’s forwards, starting line-up has four changes from the XV that did play in the Boks’ final Tri-Nations match versus the All Blacks in September.

The starting line-up show off a total of 588 Test caps among them selves, while the bench boys add 180 more to that figure. Zane Kirchner, who first played in the third and final Test against the British & Irish Lions in July, returns at full-back in place of Frans Steyn. Kankowski and Jacobs, who were benched in Hamilton, are now promoted to the starting line-up in the place of Spies and Jean de Villiers respectively.
