Group Two is South Korea, Japan, Australia, North Korea, New Zealand, Mexico, United States and Honduras. So the team will be confronting one of those teams by June. Keep your fingers crossed for North Korea or New Zealand or Honduras, who we don’t have any idea of their game. A draw of the USA would be great, not the slightest for us users of the offside, great many people might have some mixed loyalties. But in the end you’d all come round England since we are the Fatherland.

Group three is Ghana, Ivory Coast, Algeria, Cameroon, Nigeria, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay. We are quite confident versus most of those teams. It is very likely that the Ivory Coast will go a long way in the World Cup if the draw they make will not be that devastating which they could. They could get France, Brazil or Portugal and Spain in the first round.

Group Four is made up of Wildcard Pot; it is composed of the other European Teams namely Slovenia, France, Portugal, Serbia, Switzerland, Greece, Denmark Serbia, and Slovakia. It is possible to beat France on regular day, but better yet to avoid them since recently they’ve beaten us. Portugal has brought about too much misfortune these past years that they’re becoming another Germany so it’s better not to face them again. Serbia has a lot of good players that it would be better to say No Thanks to them, if that is possible. So there are very easy groups and night mare group of death as well. There will also be a Group of Death, thanks to France and Portugal not being seeded. I hope we do not cross their path. But if it is our lucky day, we can win on either of those sides. So it this World Cup 2010 Slovenia vs. England we will definitely try their best to win.

Only for the second time did Honduras qualified for the World Cup. It happened at El Salvador on Wednesday after a 1-0 victory and a draw for Costa Rica. Carlos Pavon scored to give Hondurans the win and added them alongside Mexico and United States for the South Africa 2010 World Cup.

After a power struggle and civil unrest in Honduras, Reinaldo Rueda the national team coach sees a unifying term in the World Cup qualification. It will be a contribution toward peace. Victory was not good enough and it happened that luck was not in Costa Rica’s side and cling to the last spot, since they are leading the US 2-1 with only seconds remaining. But Jonathan Bornstein scored for a 2-2 draw for the 10-man Americans in Washington that denied them the game.

Bryan Ruiz scored in 2 points in less than 5 minutes and gave Costa Rica a 2-0 lead, the Americans rallied back to finish the qualifying stage in North American with three victories and two ties when the opponents make the first score.

Only seconds away from a Costa Rica victory that would have booked a third consecutive trip to the world football showdown, but instead they lost to Honduras and now must go against Uruguay in a playoff to decide who plays in the World Cup.

Expectations further rise due to the fact that the attacking Chileans finished the group with 32 goals, the second-highest scorers, including ten from Humberto Suazo their top marksman and garnered ten wins in all which is more than any of their competitors from their continental.

As expected from a compact team that loves to take all the opportunities to move forward, Chile’s star players are found in different positions. The leaders are Alexis Sanchez, Matias Fernandez and Humberto Suazo these players teamed up to produce great results for domestic giants Colo Colo in 2006 but have gone to their separate ways.

Fernandez and Sanchez form a new breed of footballer eager to build a great reputation abroad. And the experienced Suazo is a great finisher with a sense for showing up in the right place at the right time.

Dr. Ernesto Martinez, member of the surgical team, said they could not guarantee that his life is no longer in danger. But he said the player is on a stable condition.

The Attorney General of Mexico City Miguel Angel Mancera made an ocular inspection to the bar and said the crime did not appear to be robbery since nothing was taken.

Cabanas is playing for the Mexico City team America. Michael Bauer the Club president said Cabanas was conscious when he got to the hospital and was able to talk while waiting for surgery.

He was confused and didn’t know what happened. He was asking where he is being taken and why he has to go there. This was what Bauer said to the Mexico television Televisa. He also said Cabanas’ wife said that they were about to leave the bar when he was shot in the bathroom. He was found in the bathroom door, this was said by his wife.

Mancera said, after the incident, four people were questioned, the bar manager, two security guards and the brother-in-law of Cabanas. He said that the brother-in-law even volunteered to testify.

Cabanas’ has been playing since 2003 in the Mexico league and is the highest profile player on the national team. Paraguay will be battling against the likes of New Zealand, Italy and Slovakia in June for the group stage of the World Cup in South Africa.
